Architecture and Comics

Architecture and comics is a fun subject which combines architecture and comic to create an interesting new story which explains architecture through visuals and words. By learning this subject, it helped to expand on my creativity as to making a visual expression. I've also learnt a new method of presenting the board in a comic platform.

The first project had us research a selected building showing all of its dimensions and drawings as well as its historical and cultural context. Next we were to produce 2 a3 comic pages which narrates a story using the researched building as part of the storyboard. This will help in developing skills of portraying presentation ideas.

For the second project, we were to produce a work preview to help us determine which groups we were going to be separated into. My storyboard was not chosen and i got to be in a group with Jo Yee and Melissa Li. We worked together to create a story on Mike Wallace and Frank Lloyd Wright's last interview. It revolves around the architecture figure Mr. Wright and his struggles in life. Together we made a comic and is as such:
